Good News!

Struggling with who you are? Jesus stepped onto the scene over 2000 years ago and told us exactly who we are and who HE is for us!

When I am in need 
He brings me good news. 
When I am brokenhearted 
He brings me comfort.
When I am held hostage by fear,
depression, or anxiety,
When I have been taken prisoner
by circumstances,
When my history fights
to keep me bound,
He speaks freedom into my life.
He reveals open doors
and lights up the path.
He is the key.
He does not give me the key
and then walk away.
He shows me how and where
to use the key.
When I am full of sorrow
He covers me with His favor.
HE fights for me and
delivers me from
my enemies.
Those ashes of despair
I sat upon are turned into
a thing of beauty.
He forms them into a crown
and places it upon my head. 
BEAUTY for ashes.
JOY for sorrow.
Heaviness lifted.
Instead I wear PRAISE.
I am transformed.
I am planted.
I am an 
Oak of Righteousness.
I am 
FOR HIS GLORY

In turn, Because of HIM
I become:
A REBUILDER
A REVIVOR
A RESTORER
A MINISTER
HONORED
PROSPEROUS and JOYOUS

HIS righteousness in me
will be like a garden in early spring,
with plants springing up everywhere.
